a FREE 4-week coaching program
for people who have noticed something strange happening in modern conversations.
Everyone has opinions.
Very few people seem to have trade-offs.
Every problem has a “simple solution.”
Usually involving feelings, hashtags, and a press conference.
Reality, however, is a stubborn thing.
It runs on incentives.
It punishes bad ideas.
And it absolutely refuses to organize itself around whatever sounded compassionate in a university seminar last Tuesday.
This program is about learning how to see the world as it actually works, not how it’s described in viral posts and emotional slogans.
Before being admitted, applicants must complete the Adult Table Qualification Test.
It takes about five minutes.
The test is not about intelligence.
It simply measures whether someone is currently thinking through narratives… or reality.
If you qualify, you’ll receive an invitation to join the next intake.
What This Course Is
What You’ll Actually Learn
The Adult Table is a 4-week common-sense training program for people who may have recently noticed a few small warning signs in their life.
For example:
Your hair dye budget has quietly exceeded your grocery budget.
You’ve purchased more protest poster board than printer paper this year.
You’ve used the phrase “this is violence” to describe a disagreement about lunch.
If any of that sounds familiar, welcome. You may be exactly who this course was designed for.
The Adult Table is not about politics.
It’s about reintroducing a few ancient ideas that somehow disappeared from modern conversations.
Things like:
• incentives
• tradeoffs
• human behaviour
• emotional regulation
In other words, the small set of tools that functioning adults have quietly used for centuries to figure out what’s actually going on.
Because here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Good intentions are not a strategy.
Outrage is not analysis.
And reality has a stubborn habit of ignoring whatever sounded compassionate in a very confident Instagram post.
During these four weeks, we’ll look at real-world situations and ask a radical question that has fallen out of fashion:
“How does this actually work?”
Not how it feels.
Not how it sounds in a slogan.
How it works.
This program does not tell you what to think.
That would be easy, and frankly, the market for that is already saturated.
Instead, it helps you rebuild something much more valuable:
The ability to think clearly enough to notice when an idea sounds nice but collapses the moment it meets human nature, incentives, and reality.
If you’ve started to suspect the world might make more sense than your news feed suggests…
You may be ready for the adult table.
Over four weeks, we break down how functioning societies actually operate.
Week 1
Reality vs Narrative
Why the loudest explanation is usually the weakest one.
Week 2
Incentives and Tradeoffs
Why people respond to incentives far more than good intentions.
Week 3
Human Behaviour and Social Norms
Why civilizations develop rules… and why pretending those rules don’t exist rarely ends well.
Week 4
Responsibility and Clear Thinking
How adults approach complex problems without needing outrage, villains, or a new government department every time something goes wrong.
Once you start looking at problems this way, many “complicated” debates become surprisingly simple.
Why I’m Doing This
For over twenty years, I’ve coached athletes, entrepreneurs, and people trying to rebuild their lives after difficult chapters.
One lesson keeps showing up.
Life improves dramatically when people learn to think clearly about the world around them.
Not react.
Not perform.
Not panic.
Just think.
Common sense isn’t flashy.
It doesn’t trend on social media.
But it quietly solves a remarkable number of problems.
This course is simply my small contribution to helping more people rediscover it.
Because societies tend to function much better when more adults are actually sitting at the adult table.
